Easter Sunday
Well this is the first year that I have gotten to be the Easter Bunny. I made a cutie little basket for Belle, hid eggs and made my fist pin wheel. Which sprung the idea of the Annabelle design for my little pet project.(the bees knees)I love when designs come from the love and thoughts of those who fill our lives with sweetness and laughter. The best sound in the world. Ha.
I also colored eggs with red cabbage, beets, and coffee. Didn't turn out quite as I imagined. C'est la vie. Next year they will be much better.
Had a Scandinavian style lunch. ~Which made me think of home and family get togethers. Nostalgia.
Although, listening to Madeline Peyroux and watching the love of my life work on hanging an awning over the door into our charming studio makes my cup runneth over.
Life is good.

Garden Party
So this past Sunday my garden under went a serious transformation. Thanks to a group of wonderful friends. I provided the food which my husband prepared for all of us ladies. We chatted, drank Mojitos and played in the dirt. It was wonderful!
f l o r a s garden is still growing and will be for years. We have our minds set on being as socially and environmentally responsible as we can. We have put all sorts of fabulous new plants in the ground and hopefully our future brides will reap the benefits of our locally grown flowers.
Monday was also a great day for team f l o r a. We took Jack and Belle out to Yancey county and visited Mountain Farms. It is a sweet little farm with baby goats that the kids got to feed milk out of a bottle ~ they loved it! We also set up a connection with them to be getting our lavender for events. Local ~ got to love it!
Check them out ~ the views are ammazing!
