Rotary Club Auction

Every January the Rotary Club holds an auction to raise money for the year.  This is an important fund raiser that "Sustains Health, Stops Hunger & Serves Humanity both at home and internationally." ~ Mrs. Repoley       I am happy to say that this was flora's third year volunteering to do the floral design.  They pick a new theme every year, and Mardi Gras was what they chose for 2011.
I am proud of team f l o r a and happy to say that both Tyler and Emily also volunteered their time for the cause.  Even my better half, Patrick and my mini me, Annabelle helped out.

Sarai Repoley,(owner of Graceful Design Gardens)  put the entire event together and despite the fact that she is one of my dear friends, I can say absolutely unbiasedly that she did a great job! The numbers speak for themselves.  They netted over $30,000.00!!!

After an Ohhhh...so long winter that I spent hunkered down with my sweet family I am feeling more inspired than I have felt in years.  Yay!!!  Last Year was wonderfully crazy busy and I can only hope for equally beautiful and amazing weddings this year. I am happy to say that so far it is looking promising that this year just might support my obsession for all things cute and creative.  I have spent days in the studio feeling more and more ready for all that April brings. flowers, weddings and happy people!

Well...here at  f l o r a we have definitely enjoyed our down time.  However, we couldn't be more excited to get back into the swing of things.

Just wanted to share one of our favorite bouquets from 2010.  Elise, what a wonderfully sweet and creative bride.  She was definitely a busy crafty bee with all kinds of wicked cute d.i.y. ideas.
