Hi Lissa,

We're about to leave for our honeymoon in Greece, but we wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you. Lissa, we LOVED what you did with our wedding. I seriously cannot imagine anything more perfect. You brought our vision to life in the most beautiful and impressive way. The flowers, the way you displayed all the details...incredible.  I was pretty anxious about the precarious weather situation, which had dampened my mood a bit, but as soon as I walked in and saw how you had transformed Claxton Farm, I couldn't help but beam with happiness. We got so many compliments. Thank you for being a critical part of creating our dream wedding! :)  We absolutely loved it!

Flowers can be recycled, too!

Ever wondered what happens to flowers after weddings are over?  Well, at  f l o r a  we try to make sure they're put to good use, and enjoyed a second time over!  These are a few arrangements we've put together to send to our friends at Meals on Wheels.  They take our mini, recycled-container arrangements along with meals to shut-ins of the Asheville area!  

A special thank you this week to our new neighbors and friends at The Bloom Room in West Asheville for donating some of their leftover flowers for our arrangements, as well!

Look what's GROWING at f l o r a !!

Our garden is taking off, folks!  We're so excited to be growing our very own flowers and herbs for the summer months!  We're the proud parents of two raised-bed plots and a succulent garden--- not to mention the many potted plants and succulents inside the store!  They're growing up so fast, our little baby seedlings will be moving out and going off to college before we know it!  Cheers to green thumbs!

IT'S SPRING!

Spring means new blooms and new life, and for us here at Flora, it means a brand new shop!  We are oh-so-excited to invite you to come out and see our new floral boutique on Haywood Road!  We've been busy bees getting the shop set up and getting flowers in the door, and now we're officially open!  We'd love to see your smiling faces, so walk-in or call-in to the shop anytime Monday thru Saturday from 10am - 6pm!  We have beautiful flowers, plants and succulents galore to help beautify your world and celebrate your friendships!
